• Kit is designed specifically for MT Weld Inspection.  Flaws are designed to be “Border Line” Acceptable or Reject able.

• Material: Carbon Steel

• Kit contains 10 specimens:

• Flaws are randomly placed

• (4) Tees 4″ (L) x 6″ (W) x 2″ (H) x 0.25″ (T)

• (4) Plates 4″ (L) x 6″ (W) x 0.25″ (T)

• (2) Pipe: Ø4” Sch40 (0.25” wall) x 6” (L)

• Flaws: at least 2 per specimen, 25 total

• Welding Process – SMAW
